Oceania Indymedia Conference Melbourne, Australia, July 15th - 18th 2004

A 3 day Oceania Indymedia Conference will be held in Melbourne, Australia in July this year.

The conference will be a mix of public workshops, tech sessions, skillshares and meetings, and will be held from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th July.

The conference aims to be a space for members of indymedia collectives to discuss and work on improving the indymedia network in the region.It is not aimed to be merely a space of discussion, as important as that will be, but also a space for "live" collaboration with ample time for people to sit down to work together on creating projects, to skillshare, to fix and upgrade sites, to create solidarity through working together on common projects.

It is hoped to get as many people from Oceanic Imcs there as possible: Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Aotearoa, Manila, Adelaide, Sydney, QC, Nothern Territory.

Workshop topics include video activism, online video distro, hardware, defamation workshop, feature writing (and more - got one you want to propose?). A temporary media lab will also be set up in venue.

Une conférence Indymedia de trois jours aura lieu à Melbourne, Australie, en Juillet.

La conférence est composé d' un mix d' ateliers publics, sessions tech, échanges et réunions, elle aura liue du vendredi 16 au dimanche 18 juillet.

On espère réunir autant de indyanes de cmi's Oceaniques que possible: Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Aotearoa, Manila, Adelaide, Sydney, QC, Bandung, Nothern Territory. (bienvenu aux autres cmi's bien sur).

Comme thèmes d' ateliers il y a entre autres le video activisme, traitement de video on ligne, hardware, un atelier sur comment s' y prendre aux diffamations, écrire des feature (et plus - les propositions sont les bienvenus). Un media lab temporaire sera crée pour l' occasion.

In Melbourne, Australien wird dieses Jahr im Juli eine 3-tätige Indymedia Ozieanien Konferenz stattfinden.

Die Konferenz wird ein Mix aus öffentlichen Workshops, Technik-Sessions, Erfahrungsaustausch und Besprechungen sein und wird von Freitag, 16. - Sonntag 18. Juli dauern.

Wir hoffen, dass viele Menschen von den IMCs aus dem Ozeanischen Raum kommen werden: Perth, Melbourne, Aotearoa, Manila, Adelaide, Sydney, QC, Bandung, Nothern Territory.

Die Themen der Workshops umfassen unter anderem Video-Aktivismus, Video-Streaming online, Hardware, ein Workshop über rechtliche Themen, wie Diffamierung etc., Schreiben von Features (und mehr - willst du noch etwas vorschlagen?). Ein zeitweiliges Media-Lab wird auf dem Veranstaltungsgelände eingerichtet werden.

Se llevará a cabo una conferencia de 3 días de Indymedia Oceanía en Melbourne, Australia, este próximo Julio.

La conferencia será una mezcla de talleres públicos, sesiones tech, intercambios y reuniones, y se llevarán a cabo entre el viernes 16 y el domingo 18 de julio.

Se espera recibir el máximo numero de gente posible de los IMCs Oceánicos: Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Aotearoa, Manila, Adelaide, Sydney, QC, Bandung, Nothern Territory.

Los talleres incluirán, entre otros temas, video activismo, distribución de video en línea, hardware, talleres sobre difamación, redacción de reportajes (y más - ¿quieres proponer algún tema?). Se montará también un media lab temporal para la ocasión.
